IMDB : 8.2

Run time : 2hr 51mins

Andhagaaram deals with three different stories of three characters, Selvam (Vinoth Kishan) a blind librarian who is desperate for money for his kidney operation, but forced to an extent to take up his dead father’s job exorcism, Vinod (Arjun Doss) a depressed cricket coach who has a dark past and Dr.Indran (Kumar Natarajan), a renowned psychiatrist who is shot by his own patient. And the common thing that collides these three stories is an old Telephone.

Vinod replaces the broken telephone in his apartment, suddenly a mysterious caller starts to strike a heated conversation with Vinod. However surged with curiosity Vinod tries to track down the mystery caller and horror thriller begins.

Director takes us through a horror thriller ride for 2hr 51mins which is a bit stretched for a thriller. The cinematography and the music was top notch as it brings the chill closer to us. But detailing are the real horror elements and Andhagaaram has handled the detailing portion very well as it leads to amazing twists towards the end.

Every actor filled up their screen spaces perfectly, especially Arjun Doss giving us chills with his acting.

Andhagaaram feels a bit slow paced as it lags a few parts in the first half. The second half is a real treat for horror flix fans. Overall Andhagaaram offers a perfect choice for horror fans for the weekend.
